Traditional diyas and terracotta idols
What started off as a hobby has turned into a profession for commercial artist Anuradha Date. "I started experimenting with traditional diyas but when I got excellent feedback I converted it into a profession," says the talented artist.

Apart from diyas she now indulges in terracotta idols, diyas and lamps, visiting card holders, pen stands and hand-painted jute bags. The color scheme of her products ranges from earthy shades to vibrant blues and greens and metallic shades. She customises products as well.

Chocolate bouquets and Kashmiri rangolis
Floral bouquets are pass ufffd, instead its chocolate bouquets that are all the rage these days. Ask Mira Vara who is flooded with orders this festive season. She uses imported dark or white chocolates in various flavors with nuts for her creations. "We mould the chocolates to make them resemble roses and tulips. We also offer assorted flowers with chocolates," she says. She also offers readymade Rangolis made out of peacock feathers and Kashmir Rangoli.

Silver idols, wax statues and silver jewellery
If you believe in traditional gifting options, opt for hollow idols and wax statues of deities like Ganesha, Lakshmi and Hanuman. They are covered with silver in vibrant colours like pink, saffron and green. They also offer customised silver net bowls, Meenakari bangles and traditional jhumkis.
