One such is the Arora family, residents of Gamadiya lane at Peddar Road. Kamal Arora (54), his wife Menaka (52) and their 19-year-old son Shiv Arora were claimed by the crash. They had departed for the pilgrimage to the famous Mukninath temple on Friday night. "The deceased couple is survived by two daughters - 25-year-old Prerna and 29-year-old Vidhi, who is married. Both of them are reeling with shock and grief, ever since they heard news of the crash," said a family friend, requesting anonymity.

A prayer meeting was arranged by the family for the departed souls, and was attended by grieving family members. Two other families in Mumbai have lost loved ones to the crash. Of the 16 Indians on board the flight, 13 were killed. The plane was flying from Pokhara, a major tourist destination, to Jomsom. u00a0
