Desi cruise liners traget unexplored wedding marketThe advent of cruise tourism from this port city has opened new vistas of hitherto unexplored market for weddings on the high seas onboard luxury liners.
"We are looking at wedding onboard possibilities. We have two enquiries from Delhi and one of them is confirmed," said a top official of Louis Cruises India, which launched a cruise liner, M V Aquamarine, last week.
About 500 guests are likely attend the wedding on the seven-deck ship.

The reception will also take place onboard the liner, company Managing Director Oneil Khosa said yesterday. "There are enquires for three more weddings," he added.
Besides, there is also "huge demand" from corporates for conferences on the cruise ship, he said, since holding a conference onboard has more advantages than conducting them in cities where traffic jams had become a regular feature.
