A case had been registered under the Indian Penal Code for making physical contact and advances involving unwelcome sexual overtures.
Police have arrested the businessman based on a complaint lodged by the woman. However, he was allowed to go home after police served notice on him.
"We have to question the crew members to gather sufficient evidence to punish the culprit. They will be quizzed soon as we have planned to file a charge sheet soon in a court in the city (Bhubaneswar)," said Police Commissioner R.P. Sharma.
The commissioner said the woman, who hails from Jharkhand's Bokaro and is a fashion designer by profession, told police that Jhunjhunwala allegedly touched her inappropriately while she was travelling in an Indigo flight from Mumbai.
Sharma said Jhunjhunwala has deposited his passport with police and has given an undertaking that he will appear before them for the investigation.
In another video, the accused admitted his mistake. "Everybody makes mistakes in life. I made a mistake, a big mistake," he said in the video.
