One dead in road mishap

A 45-year-old man lost his life and another 19 sustained injuries after a collision took place between two private buses and a truck on the Pune-Nagar highway at 4 am yesterday. The deceased was identified as Liladhar Babulal Koli.

The accident, which occurred at Saradwadi, disrupted vehicular movement on the highway for an hour.

Officials from the Shirur police station said a truck (MH 16 5292) was approaching highway after refuelling at the Rajesh petrol pump, when a bus (MH 04 G 9222) that was heading towards Mumbai from Aurangabad rammed into truck.

The situation aggravated when the Nagar-Pune bus (MH 19 Y 7070) rammed into these vehicles. Koli was in this bus.u00a0
