The GUIDE checked out the new multi-cuisine restaurant at Kalyani Nagar, and loved their yummy paneer specials and their table mat games
If you are a pure vegetarian and paneer lover, the newly-opened eatery at Kalyani Nagar is just the place for you. The USP of this multi-cuisine restaurant lies in their huge range of tasty but moderately oily paneer preparations.
Ambience: The interiors are elegant and manage to hush the sounds of the traffic outside. The whitewashed walls, red and black chairs, dim lights dangling from the ceiling and soft music playing in the background make it a perfect place to unwind.
We tried: Their menu is multi-cuisine but the speciality is the paneer dishes. They also offer a range of pizzas, pastas and chaats, which can be washed down with soft drinks.u00a0
The Onion Rings (Rs 99) were crunchy and delicious. The Sizzling Paneer Chilli (Rs 175) is a must-try for all sizzler lovers. The flavour was distinct and the soft paneer literally melts in your mouth.u00a0u00a0
The Pasta-In-Pasta (Rs 189) tasted delicious and was made up of three different types of pasta withu00a0 toppings of cheese, baby mushrooms, coriander and mint. The Paneer and Vegetable Shaslik (Rs 199) was a mixed vegetable dish containing capsicums, potatoes and tomatoes and was coated with spicy masala. We found it healthy and a perfect blend of spices.u00a0
They also serve Paneer Pakodas (Rs 109 for a plate), Paneer Parathas (Rs 135) and Paneer Makhani (Rs 139), all of which are made from specially prepared paneer. Along with this, they also have a special paratha for Jains made without garlic.
Service: The staff politely answered all our queries. In case, you get bored waiting for your order to arrive, they also have puzzles printed on the paper table mats, which was quite an interesting diversion.
