Gurgaon: Six people, including a 22-year-old woman, were arrested here Tuesday for their involvement in a prostitution racket, police said.
Sumit, Amit and Gaurav from Hisar, Navneet from Jind and Abhishek from Gurgaon were arrested from a room in South City-2 area. All six are between the age group of 20-25 years.
The woman's name was not revealed.
"Someone informed police about the six people. Police raided the area and arrested them from a house near Park Hospital," police spokesperson Subhash Boken told IANS.
A case has been registered under various sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
