"So many supporters have gathered at India Gate since Saturday that it has become hard to handle them. People come and lean against the pillars and enter prohibited areas.
Now we have put a notice board warning people to maintain safe distance," said an official, requesting anonymity.
Rakesh Jain, a protester, said, "We don't want to break any government property. It was not intentional as we are followers of Gandhi and this protest is totally non-violent. We are sorry about the damage to the public property."
