At Bandra's new ice cream parlour, as you dig into frozen treats after a long and tiring shopping trip on Linking road
The flaming red signboard indicating Kwality Wall's Swirl's, a new ice cream parlour, on Linking Road is like a beacon of hope that calls out to hungry shoppers, looking for a light, frosty treat. While the generous amounts of ice cream will definitely make you grin from ear to ear, the smoothies are only recommended for those with a veryu00a0 strong craving for sugar, not flavour.
Kwality Wall's Swirl's is located on Linking Road, Bandra (W).

For an ice cream parlour, it was quite warm (were they saving the world from global warming or simply saving on the electricity bill by keeping the AC switched off?). Definitely not appreciated by ice cream lovers who love things chilled and sweet.
After giving the menu a quick glance we opted for a mini Black Forest Swirl (Rs 50), which included layers of strawberry sauce, chocolate sauce, plum cake and fresh waffle bits, and a mini Fresh Fruit Swirl (Rs 50) that came layered with vanilla soft ice and a blend of mixed fresh fruits including pineapple and kiwi topped with pomegranate seeds for that extra crunch. Light, refreshing and sinful the Swirl's are definitely worth your money as they are reasonably priced and generously served in three sizes --u00a0 mini, regular and large.
The smoothies however were a bit too sweet, for our liking. Available in three flavours -- Guava, Grape and Mango (Rs 55), we picked the latter two, and simply could not have more than two sips, as the sugary sweet synthetic tasting concoction did nothing to tickle our palate.
The parlour also serves a Fresh Fruit Salad with Ice Cream, Banana Split and a variety of Sundaes. While there's enough standing space, there's no place to sit while you wait for your order, but that should not stop you from dropping by and cooling off.
