As staid as a sandwich parlour may sound, the menu at this mini joint is far from erstwhile. Since the decor and seating at Sandwizza is minimal, with only two tables being placed outside the counter, we recommend you order in or opt for takeaway.
On the menu: What Sandwizza lacks in space, it makes up in service. The place whips up four categories of sandwiches Sandwiches, Bites, Grills and Toasts with sub-varieties within each category. The Sandwiches and Grill comprise the regular Veg, Jam, Veg-Cheese and Veg Mayo recipes, but the ones listed under "Bites" will leave you intrigued. Carrobite with carrot chutney, Basilbite with tulsi chutney, Gberribite with awla chutney and Wizzaabite with tomato chutney sell like hotcakes, thanks to their originality.u00a0u00a0u00a0
We liked: Stuffed with fresh vegetables and awala chutney, the Gberribite (Rs 50) was satiating. In case you want to steer clear of carbs, opt for the brown bread version of the same sandwich at an extra charge of Rs 20. The Veggie Mayo Toast also passed the test. For Jains, the Jain Activity Toast a filling of banana, green peas and cauliflower in bread is a good substitute.u00a0u00a0

Make these sandwiches at home: If you don't want to trudge all the way for a sandwich, make them at home. Sandwizza's Sandwich Masalas, available at the restaurant, can be used to prepare sandwiches that taste restaurant-like. Dabeli, Frankie, Pav Bhaji, Pani Puri, Anardana, Tea Masala and chutneys like Garlic Coconut Chutney are also on sale.u00a0
