AAP stages ‘Matka Phor’ protest over water shortage in Delhi

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday held a ‘Matka Phor' protest in Delhi against water scarcity in several parts of the city and a decline in water supply under the BJP government. AAP leaders and workers led by MLA Kuldeep Kumar gathered during at the Delhi Jal Board office in Mayur Vihar Phase-2, carrying earthen pots and placards with slogans such as ‘Rekha Gupta Paani Do' and ‘BJP Haye Haye'. The MLA said supply in many areas had reduced by over 20 per cent.
