A resident doctor of the AIIMS was harassed by a toll collector at the DND flyway for denying to pay extra amount on Monday night.
Dr.Abhinav Kumar was heading to Delhi in his Desire car, while his wife was trailing him in another car. The victim reportedly paid Rs 100 at the counter and asked to deduct Rs 40 for both the cars.
However, he alleged that extra amount was deducted and the accused, identified as Musarraf returned only Rs 10.
"The matter was finally sorted out after around 20 minutes, when the DND management asked me to hand over a written complaint," he said.
Meanwhile, other commuters also suffered, as the traffic came to halt for around 30 minutes. Dheeraj Kumar,a media professional, who was stuck in the jam said, "For the last two months, the swap card system is not working. It is one of the major reasons behind such incidents. And the authorities have no answer."
