Why did Cisco choose Bangalore? Chambers told journalists later that there were two reasonsu2014one because it is easier to work with a local government because Cisco has a significant presence in Bangalore, and also because he felt that in Bangalore, all the major executives, including the CM and those related to IT, understood the importance that Cisco and IT could bring to the city.
