One person was killed and three received injuries when a group of bikers attacked petrol pump employees and some customers in northwest Delhi.

The brawl started when a group of bikers reached a petrol pump in Wazirpur area.

There was a long queue for fuel at the station. The bikers insisted on filling their tanks first. But the petrol pump employees refused to do so. They told the bikers to stand in line. At this the bikers started abusing the employees and the customers present there.

Then the heated argument turned into an ugly brawl. The bikers allegedly stabbed a petrol pump employee Rakesh, 24 and three customers.

Rakesh was immediately taken to a local hospital but he was declared brought dead. The three injured are undergoing treatment. According to the petrol pump employees, the bikers were drunk and before they could react the assailantsu00a0 stabbed four persons.

The police have lodged an FIR against unidentified persons.

"We received information about the incident and our team arrived at the spot. The assailants fled from the scene after the violence. We have alerted our picket teams to arrest the culprits as soon as possible," said N S Bundela, DCP, northwest Delhi.
