Cops seize 514 kg of ganja worth Rs 60 lakhs near Nallimetta

However, 14 people who were involved in the operation fled the spot after seeing the police. Assistant Superintendent of Police, Narsipatnam, Vishal Gunny told PTI that those arrested have been identified as P Chandram, S Pandey, P Raman and a lday called Selvi, who belong to various parts of Tamil Nadu, besides natives of Nasripatnam like G Narasimham and B SattiBabu and C Ramu.

The police officials said that the smugglers had procured the 'Sheelavathi' variety of the drug from the Chintrakonda area of the Andhra-Odisha Border and few other parts of the Vizag Agency area and had it packed in 22 bags to transport it to Tamil Nadu.u00a0
