Every cop on 2010 Commonwealth Games duty will have his CV posted on Delhi Police website

In a massive drive, in view of the Commonwealth games, covering all the districts of Delhi, the Curriculum Vitae of every policeman, who will be on the Games duty, will be uploaded on the Delhi Police website with past and present job profile as well as achievements. In the last few days some of the district police stations haveu00a0 already taken digital photographs of the policemen posted with them.
According to senior police officials, the move is aimed at optimising the utilisation of the manpower during the Commonwealth Games. "The record of each and every police official will be maintained and uploaded in a way so that his whole profile is accessible at just one click," said a senior police official.u00a0
"If the official has worked in the Bomb Disposal Squad that will be shown prominently in the CV and he can be put to use in the same department during the Games. If the official has done a course in Public Relations or knows a certain foreign language then his skills can be put to use accordingly. All his details, experience and full service record will be available at the click of a mouse," he elaborated.
Police sources confirmed that a similar exercise is also proposed for criminals to keep a tab on them enable greater coordination among various police stations in the city and NCR.
