At least 21 people, including some foreign nationals, were killed, and several were injured when a massive fire broke out in a restaurant in south Delhi's Malviya Nagar on Wednesday, officials said.
As reported by PTI, more than 37 people were rescued and rushed to the hospital, where 21 were declared brought dead, they said. Several of those killed are from Central Asia and Africa.
The fire broke out in the Lemon Green Restaurant and quickly spread to a nearby eatery, they said.
As per PTI, the injured people were shifted to a hospital by CATS ambulances for medical treatment. However, the hospital administration has not yet clarified anything about the conditions of the patient.

According to a Delhi Fire Service official, rescue workers entered the basement of the building in the congested area and rescued at least three people trapped.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.
