Retired railway cop wants Bilal hanged if he's found guiltyThe father of Shaikh Lalbaba Mohammed Hussain alias Bilal, the man arrested in Nashik in the German bakery blast case, is a retired assistant sub-inspector of the Railway Protection Force.
"Hang my son if he has worked against the nation," said Hussain, Bilal's father. "I have served the police force and my seniors had immense faith in me. Now my son has done such an act for which I can never forgive him."
Hussain retired from the Railway Protection Force in 2004. Bilal has a brother, Sameer, and two sisters. He studied in Kuchan high school at his hometown Hotgi in Solapur, and later pursued science.
Members of his family said Bilal left home in 2005, stating he was going to Dubai as a wiremen. He never returned or contacted his family after that.
