Much like the turtle that carries its house on its back, we women love to carry our lives around in our handbags. Filled with the tiniest of things "in case of an emergency", it can be quite a pain to hunt down that object of desire when the need arises.

"It's like looking into a black hole," feels 26 year-old Beverly Pereira. Her solution? A hold-all waterproof bag organiser.

For two years now, this 26 year-old has been designing bag organisers to help you make sense of the chaos. "The bag organisers are drawstring bags that allow you to neatly categorise the stuff, with designated pockets for each," says the freelance writer. So, while there's one pocket to keep your body mist or bottled water in place, another can hold your cell phone, while a third can accommodate a diary.

"The bag comes with six pockets and fits like a lining, so that each time you changes your bag you do not have to shake out its contents, and then haphazardly transfer them to the new one," says Beverly. "All you have to do is lift the organiser and stuff it in the other bag." Which is why her venture is known as Bag in a Bag. Though Beverly doesn't supply to any store in the city, she functions out of her dad's popular snack shack, Candies in Pali Hill.

At Bag in a Bag, you will also find cute silk bags to accommodate your precious stilettos or lingerie when you travel. While we loved the velvety design of a lingerie set that evoked memories of Rorscach's inkblots on a hot pink bag, we are sure to pick up the more functional toiletries and cosmetic purses that can be bought with the same motifs.

"The silk bags are hot giveaways at bachelorette parties, for which we can monogram the initials of the bride on the bags," says Beverly. Though you will find a lot of feminine elements like bows, ribbons and floral prints in Beverly's bags, check out her latest nautical and African prints.

Cost Rs 400 for bag organisers and Rs 200 to Rs 300 for other silk bags.
