The third season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) ended long ago and so did the controversies surrounding those involved in the execution of the tournament. However, it's the common cricket fan for which the game is far from over.

An estimated 35,000 people had booked tickets online throughu00a0Ticketgenie India Private Limited for the semi-final matches that were to be played on April 21 and 22 respectively at the Chinnaswamy stadium.

But after blasts rocked the stadium, the games were shifted to Navi Mumbai and Ticketgenie promised the refund of tickets in 15 working days.

Nonetheless, it has been more than a month now and people haven't received any refund from the company.

Shashi Kumar, who had bought the tickets online, lamented, "I have made several calls to the company and have even sent them e-mails. However, there's no response from their side."

Meanwhile, the portal a division of DNA Network that had organised the IPL matches has blamed the bank for causing the delay.

Rajesh Chandwani, ticketing in-charge of Ticketgenie, said that they have processed the information and send it to the bank.

"We have submittedu00a0 around 35,000 applications seeking refund.

It's the bank that is causing the delay. They are looking into just 200 to 300 applications a day, he said. But he has assured that sooner or later, everyone would get their money back.
