BMTC heartened with the response to the fourth Bus Day

After the mixed reception accorded to previous Bus Days, the BMTC was heartened by the numbers that the fourth Bus Day attracted yesterday.

A large number of commuters boarded the BMTC buses to go to their offices at ITPL, Sarjapur Road, Hosur Road, Bannergatta Road and Outer Ring Road, on Tuesday.

Initially, people were unaware of the Bus Day. That has changed now following the media attention given to the initiative. More people are boarding BMTC buses, especially techies.

The theme of the fourth Bus Day was 'Traffic Safety and Lane discipline'. Sampangi Ramgowda, Divisional Traffic Office (DTO), BMTC said, "We have got a very good response for the fourth Bus Day.
