The Jharkhand government on Monday announced the cancellation of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (JSSC-CGL) examination and all recruitment conducted through the TSR Data Processing Pvt Ltd (TDPL).
Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that all examinations conducted by TDPL since 2014 would be investigated by the CID, while a committee headed by a retired judge would conduct a separate enquiry into the irregularities. He said the results published by TDPL would also stand cancelled.
The announcement came after talks between the government and protesting students remained inconclusive in the previous round of discussions. The stir against alleged irregularities in the recruitment examinations entered its 24th day on Monday.
