Col SP Ahuja and his wife live at 293, sector 29 a corner flat on the second floor of an Army apartmental complex. A young girl, presumably the actor's sister, flung open the door promptly after the first bell, and shut it as swiftly when she realised we had a camera. Minutes later, the other two balcony doors were heard being bolted tightly, and whispers of evading a media mob followed. "I think we should go to a relative's place," was what Shiney's mother could be heard suggesting, as we eavesdropped while she paced up and down the hallway. "Let's call the guards and tell them to keep the media away," was what Shiney's father could come up with.
As a security guard walked up to escort us out, another revealed that the instructions given over the phone were strict. "Kisi anjaan ko mat aane dena," said Chander, the colony guard. Soon, a convoy of three-four sedans rolled in, with other relatives heading to rescue the parents, as security men confirmed. However, none of them was willing to take a stand on the matter openly. When we approached one of the younger family members as a cab pulled out with the parents, he shrugged and said reluctantly, "Sorry, I'm unaware of the matter, and wouldn't like to say anything more."
