Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Monday said a magisterial inquiry will be conducted into the suicide of Ram Singh, the main accused in the Dec 16, 2012, Delhi gangrape case.

Dikshit also met Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, but said not much was discussed about Ram Singh who killed himself Monday morning in the high-security Tihar Jail here.

"As per the law, a magisterial inquiry will be set up. It would be wrong to comment on this incident until the magisterial level enquiry is over," Dikshit told reporters after meeting Shinde.
