At least 14 wagons of the New Delhi-Guwahati Rajdhani Express derailed in Bihar, police said Tuesday.


At least 14 wagons of the New Delhi-Guwahati Rajdhani Express derailed in Bihar, police said Tuesday.

The incident occurred Tuesday morning and no injuries were reported.

According to police, 14 wagons of the Rajdhani Express derailed between Nawgachia and Kharik railway station in Katihar district, about 200 km from here.

A railway official said traffic was disrupted on the main rail track between Delhi-Guwahati.

Officials were, however, reluctant to say anything about the cause of derailment. "It is too early to say anything," Chief Public Relations Officer Dilip Kumar said.
