In yet another incident of rash driving, two people were injured when the driver of a speeding car (MH04-5, allegedly owned by a politician) lost control at Marine Drive at 1 am last night and rammed into another car (MH04 DR 248). The driver, along with its two passengers fled from the spot, leaving its fourth occupant, a bodyguard, at the spot.

| Meanwhile Rahul Patil, the bodyguard, said, "The car was badly crushed, so I got down and first removed the boy and the badly-injured girl. Our driver and the other two persons ran away." When we enquired about his employer, Patil refused to comment. "My bosses have asked me not to disclose any details to the media. I don't know the driver or the others. It was my first day at work," added Patil. |
