"We expected her to be among us for some more days," Zulfi told MiD DAY. "But her death shocked all the Bigg Boss housemates."

Jade (27), who made headlines after her racist remarks against Shipla Shetty on Bigu00a0 Brother, was also an inmate of the Indian version of the show, Bigg Boss (Season 2). However, she moved out after confirmed reports of cervical cancer.u00a0 "I can't forget the last time we spoke, before she flew back to London," said Zulfi.

"She expressed her love for her kids. Her thoughts were on what had to be done to take care of them in the future. That was the reason for her sudden decision to move out of Bigg Boss."

Earning till the end

Jade, who died on Sunday, left behind sons Bobby (5) and Freddie (4). She was raising funds for them till her last breath, said Zulfi.

Jade knew of her impending death and signed a deal with publishing house HarperCollins, giving them the rights to her diary in which she tracked her final days. The result will be a book titled Forever in My Heart.

She signed a similar agreement for the telecast of her funeral. The funds thus raised will be donated to a cancer centre and trust, which will bring up her children.

Jade, said Zulfi, did all this for the sake of her children, to whom she had written several letters to be read by them in the future.

"She earned for her kids till the last moment. May her soul rest in peace," he added.

Zulfi's brother Syed Viquar said the Bigg Boss housemates liked Jade. "Zulfi said the inmates found her friendly and she was very close to Sambhavana."u00a0
