Scientists have discovered Canada's first dinosaur tracks from a rarely documented Cretaceous age. The fossilised footprints reveal an ornithopod-dominated dinosaur community that thrived along shorelines.

These prints originate from a poorly documented period when much of western North America lay beneath an inland sea. The discovery offers vital insights into coastal ecosystem dynamics during a critical, highly overlooked transition in Earth's ancient geological past.
