Soak up the best practices in aqua technology at a never-before water fair in town. Ps: Peene ka paani is free hereClose that tap while you shave, use a bucket instead of a shower, buy water-saving washing machines, we've heard all that and even attempted to be there. But, well, an exhibition to show it all under one roof wasn't what we'd quite expected. However, here's one that does it. At Aquatech India 2010, the focus is on drinking water, processed water and waste water management. And much, much more.
That sinking feelingOrganised by International Water Association and the Water Quality Association, theu00a0 exhibition will showcase latest technologies that'll help bridge the gap between demand and supply of water, optimise water usage in domestic, industrial and agriculture sectors and enlighten you on wastewater recycling methods. "In an emerging economy like ours, the pace of development and pressure of population is putting a strain on our water resources.
The only way we can manage is through knowledge transfer and global learning. This is what we aim to impart," says Rajan Sharma, managing director, Inter Ads- Brooks Exhibitions, the organisers. The three-day event will feature leaders of water technology, and have a lot to chew on, for commonfolk, decision-makers, professionals, advisors, technical experts, engineering organisations, consultants and students. Also, water treatment systems, equipment, transport and storage, process automation and research works will be presented. Walk till you 'drop'.
