Police artist has made more than 10 drawings of both Pune blast accused, based on different descriptions, but they all look different
While a number of people have come forward with information regarding the two suspects in the German Bakery blast, none of the descriptions have been identical.
According to Pune police sources, an artist made sketches at different times, based on the descriptions given by different people. Around 10 sketches were made initially, and they were followed up with more sketches, as the cops were unsure. But none of the sketches looked similar.

Cops sayA Pune Crime Branch official confirmed, "There is nothing similar between the sketches, so it's impossible to use them.
That is why we have not released them. They would not serve any purpose."
Even the ATS are not sure about the sketches, as they don't match any of the suspects on their terrorist list.
"Sketches rarely bear resemblance to the accused. Very rarely have we seen a criminal caught through sketches. It is difficult to say that these are the same people as the suspects," said an ATS official.
He added, "The sketches made this time also do not match any of the terrorists that we suspect are behind the blast. Hence, to go with the sketches is not going to help the investigation."

Pune Police Commissioner Satyapal Singh had earlier said the CCTV footage would help the police make sketches. But now, the investigating officers say it has not been possible for them to do so, as the footage is blurry.
