Thiruvananthapuram: A 26-year-old man, who was carrying a live bullet in his baggage, has been taken into custody at the international airport here when he was about to board a flight to Dammam.
The bullet was seized from the hand bag of Siva, a native of Kovilpatti in Tamil Nadu late last night, police said.
Though he claimed that an another person had given him the bullet, he could not produce any substantial evidence to prove his statement.
CISF personnel took him into custody and handed over to police. He would be produced before a court today, police said.
