This cop doesn't take bribes

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), Mumbai arrested two persons on Saturday for trying to bribe a police inspector


The accused, identified as Nazim Mohammed Yusuf Shaikh and Mohammed Farooque Abdul Shakoor tried to bribe Anil Sardal, an inspector at the Sewri police station. Shaikh, a priest at a dargah had filed a complaint against trustees of the dargah regarding stolen goods. On the basis of the court order, the Sewri police registered an FIR against the trustees.u00a0

Sardal was the investigating officer in the case. He registered an FIR against Nazim, who then tried to bribe him with Rs 10,000. Later he filed a complaint with the ACB on Saturday. ACB officials nabbed Nazim and Shakoor. u00a0
