The year 2020 has been tough, oweing to the Pandemic impact it has created across the globe. This has badly affected the people especially migrant workers from different states who all were stranded in big cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and other places. Many came forward to their rescue and one of these men include Tuliram Ronghang, the Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council who has helped countless migrant workers by raising 1.7 Cr for them.

The nationwide lockdown has stranded a huge number of people in the above said cities, but with souls like him, they returned home safe and sound. He even got the citation from a Mumbai based organization for his contribution in this regard. This man has been engaged in the welfare and development of Karbi Anglong Autonomous region in Assam and since 2013, he was appointed as the CEM of the council and since then they have started working actively.

Besides being the Chief Executive Member of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Diphu, Government of Assam, he also holds another post of Vice President, Assam Olympic Association. He has been involved in many social and educational projects in his state. He is an active politician, having a significant presence at the grassroot level apart from being connected with high profile figures including the Indian PM, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, among others.
