Elephant attacks kill man, 12-year-old boy in Jharkhand

Two people, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed in separate elephant attacks in Koderma district. The incidents occurred at brick kiln sites, with lapses in alerting workers reportedly contributing to the fatalities

Two people were trampled to death by a elephants in in Jharkhand's Koderma district on Wednesday. The incidents took place in brick kiln unit areas around 2 am.

The owner of one kiln was informed about the elephants but didn't convey it to his workers, resulting in the death on a 40-year-old man.

In the second incident, the owner asked his workers to leave, but a 12-year-old boy remained asleep and was killed.
