Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport on Saturday issued a passenger advisory warning of potential disruptions to westbound international flights due to US-Israel attack on Iran.
Passengers are strongly advised to check with their respective airlines for the latest flight updates before travelling to the airport. Flight information is also available on the official IGI Airport website at www.newdelhiairport.in
The airport urged travellers to rely only on official channels for verified updates.
IndiGo Airlines on Saturday issued a travel advisory following the Israel-US joint strikes on Iran, urging passengers to stay informed about regional developments.
The airline said it is closely monitoring the situation concerning Iran and its airspace, emphasising that the safety and security of its customers and crew remain the highest priority.
"IndiGo teams are prepared to implement any necessary operational adjustments as the situation evolves," the airline wrote in a post on X.
Passengers have been advised to check their flight status prior to departure. In case of any disruptions, updates will be communicated promptly through registered contact details.
The Indian Embassy in Israel has issued a travel advisory for Indian nationals following escalating tensions in the region as Israel and the US launch joint strikes on Iran.
The advisory urges all Indian citizens in Israel to exercise utmost caution and remain vigilant at all times. Indian nationals are advised to strictly follow safety guidelines issued by Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command.
The embassy has also recommended that citizens stay close to designated shelters and familiarise themselves with the nearest protected spaces in their area of residence or work. Non-essential travel within Israel should be avoided until further notice.
