Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday rolled out the VB-G RAM G scheme in Andhra Pradesh with the formal launch in Tirupati district.
Naidu and Chouhan handed over VB G RAM G cards to beneficiaries. Rolling out the scheme in Bihar, Minister for Rural Development Shrawon Kumar said that it will help reduce outmigration and improve the working condition of labourers in the state.
Manipur CM Y Khemchand Singh also rolled out the VB G-RAM-G scheme in the state. The VB-G RAM G Act, 2025, came into force across India on Wednesday. The law will provide beneficiaries a statutory entitlement to 125 days of wage employment.
