The exclusionist leader, in an unexpected move, has tied up with online gaming portal zapak.com to launch an interactive site with games based on politics and even the much-revered Tipu Sultan.

On the site, manase.zapak.com, MNS supporters can read up on details of the party, its candidates, missions and goals videos and a game titled Tiger of Mysore, where they can save the last standing fortress of the king.

The MNS wants to reach out to web-savvy voters through the portal. The site will also let youngsters share their dreams about the country through the Dream Big Contest. According to MNS, the most interesting dream will be included in its party manifesto.

"Raj Thackeray is a youth leader and this segment of the electorate will decide the future of the country. The Internet introduces transparency of purpose and political parties can effectively interact with individual voters through it. Gaming develops the brain's logical powers so it is an effective tool to woo the youth. The game, Tiger of Mysore, will let the youth connect with our party ideology in an interesting way," said Kedar Hombalkar, the head of the MNS' IT department.

Arun Mehra, chief marketing officer, Zapak.com said, "Within a week of its launch, about 30,000 visitors have already played the games and the site has got over 2 lakh page views per day. The MNS wants to intereact with its voters in Zapak is fun and attractive way to communicate with their uses. The microsite does not say vote for PM but it speaks the language of youth and gamers so that they can connect with the party and know what does it stands for."

According to the MNS, this site is different from websites of other political parties as in nominal budget they have provided interactive platform to their users through which they can express.
