Two accused arrested; hunt on for third man
After the rape of IT professional Nayna Pujari about six months ago, there is another case of gang rape in the city.
A 25-year-old, who's an MBA, yesterday accused three men of abducting and raping her on Thursday. The police arrested two of the accused yesterday morning.
The victim, who returned from the US a month ago, was waiting for a bus in Wakad to go to Bhandarkar Road for a seminar when she accepted a lift from two men around 4.30 pm.

The police said the third accused, who is absconding, joined the two men later.
The victim was allegedly taken to an open spot near an IT Park in Hinjewadi and was raped at around midnight. Later, the trio dropped her near Whistling Palms in Wakad and fled.
The woman's husband is in the US, and she hails from Nagpur. She had come to the city 15 days ago to look for a job and was staying with her aunt in Wakad.
The three accused were identified as Ranjit Gade, Ganesh Kamble and Subhash Bhosle, who is absconding.
Gade was the driver of the car, and Kamble was with him.
The two allegedly forced her to stay in the car for hours before taking her to Hinjewadi, where Bhosale joined them.
The woman and her aunt filed a complaint at the Hinjewadi police station at 3 am. The victim was later admitted to the YCM Hospital and discharged yesterday evening.
The police have arrested Ranjit Gade, Ganesh Kamble and produced them before the court yesterday. They have been remamded to police custody till April 6.

Police Inspector Bhosale Patil said the absconding Bhosale had 11 cases filed against him. "Kamble and Gade have been arrested and we are looking for Bhosale. The car belonged to Bhosale," he said.
