At the temple, he is received with traditional honours by Devaswom officials and temple authorities. Continuing his philanthropic efforts, he donates Rs 3 crore to the Guruvayur temple trust to support its religious and administrative activities
Highlighting his commitment to animal welfare, he announces plans to support humane and modern care for temple elephants
The proposed initiatives include a dedicated elephant hospital, chain-free shelters and scientifically managed care systems, aligning with the broader vision of Vantara, focused on conservation and dignified treatment of animals
"Through these initiatives and through our work at Vantara, we seek to serve with humility by enhancing the experience of devotees, while ensuring that the animals who are an integral part of our traditions are cared for with the utmost dignity, compassion and scientific attention,” said the Executive Director of Reliance Industries Limited
Later in the evening, Anant Ambani leaves to arrive at the sacred Rajarajeshwaram Temple, marking the next leg of his spiritual visit
He donates Rs 3 crore for ongoing works and further announces a Rs 12 crore restoration plan. A major highlight of this initiative is the revival of the historic East Gopuram, an architecturally significant structure that has remained in disrepair for over 200 years
He participates in traditional rituals and offerings, including Ponnumkudam, Pattam, Thaali, and Neyyamrutu, following long-standing temple customs
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Anant Ambani said, “India’s spiritual traditions are not merely places of worship, they are living institutions that nurture faith, community, compassion, and our deep connection with nature. It is our collective responsibility to preserve and strengthen this sacred heritage for future generations."
