Over 3.70 crore voters are eligible to cast their ballots across 122 constituencies
Polling will be held in districts bordering Nepal, including West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, and Kishanganj. A total of 45,399 polling stations have been set up, with 40,073 located in rural areas. Of the total electorate, 2.28 crore voters fall in the 30β60 age group, while 7.69 lakh are first-time voters aged 18β19
Women voters make up 1.75 crore of the electorate
In the first phase, Bihar recorded its highest-ever voter turnout of 64.66 per cent across 121 constituencies in 18 districts, with voting proceeding peacefully, according to the Election Commission
