Isolated places in the city are likely to reel under heatwave to severe heatwave-like conditions during the day, according to the IMD

Meanwhile, Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) was under 'moderate' category

Meanwhile, the IMD has forecast fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorms and gusty winds over Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands

Odisha is likely to witness thunderstorms with wind speeds of 50-60 kmph gusting to 70 kmph between May 20 and 23

Meanwhile, visitors were seen at Kartavya Path on a hot summer day, with the area witnessing typical seasonal heat conditions and people continuing their activities despite the high temperatures.
