Union minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh, BJP chief Nitin Nabin, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta and Bihar CM Samrat Chaudhary were among the NDA leaders who offered prayers at the Kamakhya temple ahead of Assam’s swearing-in ceremony. Goa CM Pramod Sawant, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar and MP Praful Patel also joined the visit

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta described the BJP’s third consecutive term in Assam as a reflection of public trust in Himanta Biswa Sarma’s leadership and the blessings of Goddess Kamakhya

Fadnavis expressed gratitude to the people of Assam for electing the NDA government for a consecutive third term. "I bow down to the people of Assam for the immense faith they have reposed in Prime Minister Modi and our popular Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma," he said

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said he is confident that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma will take Assam to new heights of development

Maharashtra Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar, accompanied by Parth Pawar, visited the revered Kamakhya temple atop the Nilachal Hills in Guwahati and offered prayers for the happiness, prosperity, good health and well-being of all citizens

The BJP-led NDA retained power in Assam with a sweeping two-thirds majority, winning 82 seats in the 126-member Assembly, while allies AGP and BPF secured 10 seats each.
