While addressing the rally, the CM alleged that the Union government was trying to punish southern states that implemented population control measures
Referring to the upcoming special session of Parliament commencing April 16, the Chief Minister said the Centre planned to “enact as law its conspiracy” during the sitting
Citing population control programmes, he said southern states, including Tamil Nadu, had complied and moved towards economic growth
He further said that in the upcoming parliamentary session commencing April 16, “they have planned to enact their conspiracy as law”
The Chief Minister asserted that he would fight for the rights of the Tamil people “till his last breath”
The Chief Minister said every vote for the AIADMK would effectively be a vote for the BJP, which would push Tamil Nadu
