The incident took place around 3:45 pm when the shuttering supporting the roof slab suddenly gave way and collapsed
Police received information about the incident through the control room at around 3:50 pm. Teams from Sector 24 Police Station, the Fire Department and senior police officials immediately reached the spot
The fire service team used a JCB machine to remove the debris and began relief and rescue operations. The area was cordoned off, and other workers were safely evacuated
