Himachal Pradesh executed a court order permitting tribal women to own land in the state. The decision taken at 44th meeting of Tribal Advisory Council (TAC) led by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh also makes younger sibling eligible to inherit property, ending an age-old customary law.
