A fresh political showdown erupts in Rajasthan after the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) gives the state government a 48-hour ultimatum following an alleged attack on its volunteers during a government school inspection in Jaipur district. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke has threatened to travel to Jaipur and stage a sit-in if the alleged attackers are not arrested and repair work at the school does not begin. The CJP is also demanding the resignation of Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar and withdrawal of the government order at the centre of the dispute.
