Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif warned that Islamabad could go to war with India if its water security is threatened. The statement comes amid growing tensions over the Indus Waters Treaty, which India placed in abeyance following the Pahalgam terror attack. Responding sharply, India`s Ministry of External Affairs dismissed Pakistan`s claims as "fabricated" and accused Islamabad of trying to divert attention from its own failures. India also raised concerns over the situation in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, alleging human rights abuses, suppression of protests and administrative failures.
