15 days have passed but the workers still remain trapped in the Uttarkashi`s Silkyara tunnel. To take stock of the ongoing rescue efforts to save 41 trapped workers, Principal Secretary to the PM - Pramod Kumar Mishra, Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Uttarakhand Chief Secy SS Sandhu arrived at Uttarkashi`s Silkyara tunnel. Dr. Pramod Kumar Mishra communicated with the workers trapped and also with the families of the trapped workers. Dr. Mishra also took a report of the food items being sent to the workers. International Tunneling Expert, Arnold Dix gave an update about the ongoing rescue efforts at the Uttarkashi Tunnel Collapse site.
