Uttarkashi Tunnel Collapse: Rescue operations at the Uttarkashi tunnel collapse site entered Day 13, with trapped workers deemed safe and in good spirits. The mission is already in its final stage with merely a few metres separating rescuers and trapped workers. The former advisor to PMO informed that there will likely be no metallic obstruction for the next 5 meters. The rescue team is also hoping that stranded workers will be rescued successfully by the evening of November 23. Union Minister General VK Singh (Retd) reached the operation site to take stock of the situation. 41 labourers have been trapped inside the Uttarkashi Silkyara Tunnel since November 12.
