After murdering their gangster friend, accused flee in front of cop; return to the same policeman complaining that their buddy was murdered

It's what dream film scripts are made of, and real-life murder plots hatched by the naive. In an amusing incident, two men murdered their gangster friend, fled from the police, only to return to the same cop to lodge a complaint about their pal's murder. But the policeman who had spotted them speeding away on the bike, got suspicious.

Deceased Kanan Rathore (29) visited Prabhat Hotel on the Nalasopara highway together with friends Sahanu Kheran and Vicky Chauhan around 5 am on Saturday. After an argument broke out, the three got involved in a fistfight. That's when Kheran and Chauhan got together with four other men to beat up Rathore. Finally, they and smashed Rathore's head with a cement rod, killing him.

After the incident, Chauhan and Kheran escaped from the crime scene on a motorcycle, riding down the highway,u00a0 but were spotted by Police Inspector Shriram Pudegaokar of the Nalasopara police station. The officer was standing at a tailoring shop when he witnessed the two speed away.

Strangely, in some time the two returned to the same spot to complain to Pudegaokar about the death of their friend.

Suspicious, the police interrogated Chauhan and Kheran and it was during the investigation that it was revealed that Rathore had in fact been murdered by the two complainants. The other four accused are absconding.

"Rathore had looted and murdered Hardeep Dhadiwala, and he was was booked under Sections 392, 394 and 302 of the IPC. Chauhan and Kheran also have criminal records. The investigation of this incident is still under process. We are trying to nab the other accused," said an officer from Nalasopara police station.
